Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge UK

Addenbrookes, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, is a local hospital, the teaching hospital for the University of Cambridge, a centre for specialist services, and a leader in research and development.

With an income of over £360 million and around 1100 beds, it employs over 6500 staff dedicated to the provision of a wide range of clinical and non-clinical services. Cambridge City is only 4 metres above sea level and this was a major factor that had to be considered when building tunnels at Addenbrookes Hospital. The David Ball Group used PUDLO CWP Integral Waterproofer to waterproof all of the tunnels and concrete walls at the hospital. The tunnels enabled the Hospital to get materials around to different departments easily. PUDLO is the worlds first and most widely used admixture for producing Watertight, Corrosion-Resistant Concrete.

PUDLO has a time proven unrivalled track record of successful use, spanning over 100 years all over the world.
